Nendaz in Winter

4 Vallées Ski Area

Nendaz is at the centre of the the 4 Vallées which includes the resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon and La Tzoumaz - all linked together with modern ski lifts. The region is considered one of the premium resorts in the Alps with 92 lifts and over 400km of pistes to be explored, catering to all abilities. With much of the area over 2,500m, the 4 Vallées has one of the best snow records in the alps and the highest point in the region is Mont-Fort at 3330m.

As well as the main ski lift in Nendaz, you can take the frequent shuttle bus to Siviez, where the ski domains meet and get swift access to Mont-Fort. From the Verbier side of 4 Vallées, it takes just 20 minutest to ski back to Siviez and 60 minutes to ski to Nendaz.

Nendaz itself provides a broad range of pistes from family friendly slopes to challenging runs, a ski/board park and plenty of off-piste. It has a number of ski schools teaching both skiing and snowboarding, and all have English speaking instructors. Snow shoe excursions, cross country skiing and toboganning are also available activities.

The ski season runs from mid December to late April approximately.
